You have reached the new site under construction to house all the info,photos, and products you want regardging the famous Upstage Club and Green Mermaid Cafe of Asbury Park, New Jersey owned and operated by Tom and Margaret Potter, circa 1968-1970. You can expect the same nostalgic feel of the original site plus a few new looks. Functioning just like the previous with forums, photo galleries of the old and new, and even new features. We are glad to have you with us as we prepare for the release of the long awaited book- ‘For Musics Sake- Asbury Parks Upstage Club and Green Mermaid Cafe, The Untold Stories.
As always our goal remains the same: To inspire originality and encourage music and arts of every kind by sharing the amazing story of the times and peoples involved that were Upstage. To support the preservation of the original Upstage Club location and the City of Asbury Parks rich Music History.
